Achieving a Collective, Enduring Impact on Mental and Emotional Well-Being of the Paso del Norte Region
At Empower Change, the Paso del Norte Center for Mental and Emotional Well-Being, we are passionate about improving mental and emotional well-being in the region. We serve as a backbone organization to the Mental and Emotional Well-Being Initiative of the Paso del Norte Health Foundation. Empower Change is composed of approximately 20 talented and caring behavioral health experts and graduate students from across disciplines and regional universities, dedicated to serving and strengthening the region and our communities. We believe in working together to make regional impact. To achieve a collective, enduring impact on the mental and emotional well-being of the Paso del Norte region, we strategically support the region in five overarching and interrelated domains.

We provide both leadership and expertise to catalyze efforts for collective impact in the Paso del Norte region, with representationin El Paso, Texas, Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, and Las Cruces and Alamogordo, New Mexico. Empower Change partners with leaders within the El Paso Behavioral Health Consortium, the Paso del Norte ROSC, Doña Ana County and Otero County Local Collaborative, ROTMENAS and across universities to strategically plan, coordinate, and support common goals. We do this all by drawing upon broad content expertise across multiple relevantdomains and tapping into an array of professional networks at the local, state, national, and international levels.
