Adalberto Isaac Garcia
Adalberto Isaac Garcia is currently a second-year master’s student in the Bioinformatics program. He received a B.S. in Neuroscience from Brown University. Adalberto’s research interests vary. He has spent some time working with the link between cancer biology and neurodegenerative diseases as well as machine learning prediction algorithms with concussion and recovery at the CMCRL at UTEP. While working under Empower Change, Adalberto has been involved with the backend development of database, algorithmic, and application design for the various councils. Adalberto is working in hopes to bridge the gap between technology and the efficacy of mental health tools in a clinical and research approach. Adalberto hopes to pursue a degree in Bioinformatics/Computer Science and aspires to have a career in the tech industry to bring mental well-being to the forefront of technological innovation and design.
